11:43 pm - fuckin awesome! oh man! i thought i was going to be stuck home doing college essays ALL DAY (and i was for the major part of the afternoon) but then i went to go get christa to go to wendy's with my parents, and it turns out that all my friends are over there for a SURPRISE PARTY! jeebus, i was completely floored!! thanks so fuckin much to all who came out!!! joey, bobby, francis, will, paul yoon, jasmine :D, gian!, paul the bassist, sorcha, sarah, brendan, trevor, ian, joaquim!!!!!!, and nery and mira who dropped by for a little, and then a MAJOR thank you to fuckin stephanie, katie, and christa.........i dont know what i'd do without you 3. thank you so damn much for the best damn 18th birthday party i could have ever asked for!!! :) Current Mood: happy Current Music: vintersorg - astral and arcane

12:17 pm everythings goin alright for the most part. the school musical, company, is rolling along very nicely, everyone is doing a marvelous job, and it remains fun to play every night! haha. unfortunately, it has destroyed any immune system i once had, so i'm easily prone to illness -___- (reason im home today). *shrugs* i'll just listen to unhealthy doses of wintersun. and do some college apps. i suppose. o____o. 10:32 am - antihomecoming of DOOM so in leiu of attending homecoming, i had 4-5 good friends over for music, food, and fun. TENTHOUSAND times better than any school dance could have been. much DDR was had by all haha, and the muppet show was watched. hot tubbin and clubbin too haha. all in all it was an excellent time and fun was had by all. earlier than that yesterday, i got to go to a norwegian fair in culver city. so fuckin cool, im definitely joining the sons of norway. it doesnt get much more badass than that. and then today, after musical practice o__o is OPETH. FINALLY. oh man, that show is going to rip. as long as they dont play too much new stuff. dih. but all in all, an excellent weekend =) ^^ Current Mood: cheerful Current Music: opeth - nectar

09:53 am so the week in berkeley ended yesterday. it was an excellent, restful, enjoyable time, even though i was slightly sick. flew down from oakland airport yesterday, which was enjoyable enough. will picked me up (thanks again will) from LAX and we went on our merry way to irvine to go see gigantour. after some lunch at la salsa, we go in, and eventually i meet up with these show-buds of mine that i have, that i see at all the shows i go to, and so we end up chilling with them most the time. good folks. just about every band there was really great. i mean, some of the shit they allowed on the bill was obviuosly, shit.......like bobaflex and dry kill logic. they had NO place on a tour like this, it was just ridiculous. but nevermore, symphony x, dream theater, and megadeth all owned ass. dream theaters set was the best one i've seen. just absolutely mindblowing. needless to say, it was a time and a half. my neck is now all stiffed up and im a bit sore from the symphony x pit (of all pits). thanks again will for offering such a great time. *looks at flights to norfolk. gets depressed at prices. goes and learns more finnish* Current Mood: sore'n'tired Current Music: kataklysm - sorcery (kataklysm part II)

04:51 pm so this week, ive been in berkeley, just spending time with sister and brother and family up here, and its been very nice. im a bit sick, but not bedridden, so its ok. i really really really need to persuade the parents (who come up friday) to leave really early sunday, so i can make it to gigantour. o_0 but yes, its been very nice and very relaxing up here. really, i dont even know why i should go home (except for gigantour ha)...its just a great environment for me to work on guitar, and i always love spending time with my siblings. ha maybe an extended stay here is in order for me. im not really interested in being home until around the middle of august haha, so it'd be nice to stay here. although, when i go back, i hear sir gian is back in town, so i'll have to come back to get him a'drummin and a'blastin and have a band. that would be nice indeed. make damn joey play some death metal too. so we'll see. maybe la wont be bad again. although it most likely will. stupid city. *leaves for finland* Current Mood: dead Current Music: the forsaken - one more kill

06:29 pm so tomorrow im coming home. or trying to come home ha. i have TWO layovers, not one on the way back. not to mention that: denmark is one of the countries (italy the other) that has been ''threatened'' by terrorists. im not really worried as much as i am annoyed, because i know its going to get bitchy going through security/customs/etc. at airports, especially since i have 2 layovers. and one of our layovers is in atlanta, georgia. right around where that damn hurricane dennis will be. so hopefully my ass doesnt get blown over by a hurricane. well, that wont happen, but hopefully no flights will be delayed or cancelled due to the weather. blah. even if everything goes smoothly, since there are two separate layovers, it will be almost a 24hour day for me. HA. oh boy this will be fun. too bad ipod batteries last for only so long hahaha. i'll have to charge it at different airports x). also too bad my layover isnt in norfolk, virginia ø_______- haha so yes. after a short nights sleep, the long journey home begins. wow that sounded power metal. ah well, see you all when i get back. *goes back to reading finnish book* Current Mood: restless Current Music: sonata arctica - abandoned, pleased, brainwashed, exploited

11:55 am - from arlansan airport our flight to norway got fucked (our booking was accidently made for JULY 28 and not june 28...) but we payed for new tickets and now im in the sas lounge waiting for the flight. saw all the flights on the board going to turku, tampere, helsinki, vaasa....made me teary ¤sigh¤ nå skal vi reise til oslo. det vil vaere en svart reise, men jeg vil heller reise til suomi. blah. at least being in norway and later denmark will help my sorryassed norwegian and danish, but i REALLY should be in finland because my finnish is the worst of all of them. who wants to learn finnish with me this summer? i'll write more when i get to norge hope everyone is enjoying themselves back at home...i'll be back before ya know, so enjoy your time without me there bugging you ha.
